From ungrafted vines of the lowland and mountainous Zakynthos vineyard.
Vinification:
The harvest begins in the first ten days of September. After pressing, the grapes and must are taken to the winemaker where the extraction of the pigments begins with the start of the alcoholic fermentation. The temperature is maintained at 20-25ºC. When the color intensity and taste balance reach the desired levels, the grapes are removed.
Characterictics:
A wine with a deep ruby red color and a complex aromatic bouquet. It presents notes of ripe red fruits, cherries, blackberries, and prunes framed by spices such as pepper and cinnamon. It has velvety tannins, a rich body and balanced acidity.
Alcoholic Strength:
13,5%
Ideally accompanied with Mediterranean dishes containing meat and rich sauces. Goes well with a variety of cheeses and charcuterie with a strong flavor.
