Combination of different red varieties of the Zakynthos Vineyard.
Vineyards:
From vieille vignes of the lowland and mountainous Zakynthos vineyard.
Vinification:
The overripe grapes of these varieties are sent after pressing to stainless steel tanks for extraction, so that the pigments of the skin give maximum color strength. The alcoholic fermentation continues in a separate stainless steel tank but is not completed to ensure the required amount of unfermented sugars.
Characterictics:
Intense ruby red color with a generous aroma of red ripe forest fruits, hints of spices such as pepper and cinnamon. The gentle tannins blend harmoniously with the slightly sweet taste of this wine creating a pleasant complexity, combined with the rich body it presents.
Alcoholic Strength:
12,5%
Ideally accompanied by Mediterranean dishes containing meat and sauces with spices. Goes well with a variety of cheeses and cured meats.
